I have to say as a lady the piercings I have mean nothing other than they are pretty and shiny! Although the events of the past year and a half—friendships, the great deal I’d learned and achievements I’d made—weren’t particularly on my mind as I got my Ashley labret piercing (I was more nervous than anything else), I think throughout my life I will always remember the time and circumstances of the piercing. I feel the same way about my tongue piercing and whatever else—if I get around to it—I’ll get done before heading back. Essentially on par with my thoughts on the matter.
