About This Blog
This isn’t a tech blog (solely) – but I’m a tech guy, so there’s lots of tech here. It’s not entirely a personal blog either. It’s not quite rantings, but it’s not quite coherent. It’s my dialogue with the world – some of it is professional, some of it is personal, none of it is necessarily well-considered or particularly poignant. It is what it is, and you’re welcome to it (but it’s cool if you don’t want it!)
About Andy
If you had to tag me, the tags would read something like: software developer, entrepreneur, recovering web monkey, gym junkie, ersatz AI researcher, alleged gentleman, troublemaker. I’ve been learning a lot about social media lately too, but I don’t think anyone can rightly call themselves an expert in that field yet.
I graduated 2006 from University of Canberra with a Bachelor in IT. For some reason, I’ve decided to go back and do a graduate certificate and maybe eventually a masters or PhD. Some people never learn.
During the week I write code. I used to run a small business (6 people), where I was a Developer, Sysadmin, Manager, Marketer – talk about hectic. Both sadly and happily, that all came to a close at the end of 2008, and now I’m learning how to have a life outside of my work again.
All bets are off come the weekend, and you could find me at home chilling, down at the beach or (more likely) out partying, dancing and generally causing trouble (of the best kind).
